Hello
I’m Aaron.
My wife Jenna, our daughter Marlee, and I live in beautiful Lake Country in Oconomowoc, and we absolutely love life here. Being close to family and surrounded by a peaceful community is something we don’t take for granted — it truly feels priceless.
Volleyball has shaped much of who I am today. From the relationships built along the way to the competitive drive the sport brings out, volleyball has been a constant part of my life. I’ve spent more than 25 years playing, studying, coaching, and mentoring in the game — from indoor to sand, from athletes just learning to serve to high-level players chasing to the highest levels.
By day — and plenty of nights — I also work behind the bar, which honestly fits perfectly with who I am. I love conversation, connection, energy, and creating spaces where people feel welcome. Lang Volley was born from that same spirit:
Relationships first. Volleyball second.
I don’t see myself as just a coach.
I see myself as a mentor, guide, and long-term resource for athletes and families navigating the volleyball journey. My goal is simple:
-
Help athletes move better
-
Train smarter
-
Stay healthy
-
Build confidence
-
Learn lessons that last far beyond volleyball
Whether you’re a developing athlete, a motivated high school player, or someone who simply wants to fall back in love with the game, I want Lang Volley to feel like a place you can reach out, ask questions, and grow.
If you’re looking for someone invested not just in performance — but in people — I’d love to connect.
— Aaron
